Downtown Kalamazoo

Downtown Kalamazoo, Inc (DKI) is one of the largest companies that use The Event Company to plan their events. Working with a volunteer team called The Special Events Committee, the following events are held each year. All of the events are free to attend. The DKI events are retail promotion focused and the DKA Charities (DKAC) events are community focused. First Quarter Events:

• Great Winter Adventure and Chili Cook-off–January 23 (DKAC and DKI Combined)
• Art Hop –March 5 (DKI)

Second Quarter Events:

• Add Hop – an unconventional Art Hop– May 7 (DKI)
• Art Hop - June 4 (DKI)
• Art on the Mall –June 4-5 (DKAC)
• DoDah Parade –June 5 (DKAC)
• Mixer on the Mall –June 9, 16, 23, 30(DKAC)

Third Quarter Events:

• Summer Sidewalk Sales –July (DKI)
