Downtown Kalamazoo

 Downtown Kalamazoo, Inc (DKI) is one of the largest companies that partner with The Event Company to plan their events. Working with a volunteer team called The Special Events Committee, the following events are held each year. All of the events are free to attend. The DKI events are retail promotion focused and the DKA Charities (DKAC) events are community focused. First Quarter Events:

• Great Winter Adventure and Chili Cook-off–January 21 (DKAC and DKI Combined)
• Art Hop –March 2 (DKI)

Second Quarter Events:

• Add Hop – an unconventional Art Hop– May  4(DKI)
• Art Hop - June 1 (DKI)
• Art on the Mall –June 1-2 (DKAC)
• DoDah Parade –June 2 (DKAC)
• Mixer on the Mall – TBA - but on Wednesdays (DKAC)

Third Quarter Events:

• Mixer on the Mall –July TBA Wednesdays (DKAC)
• Summer Sidewalk Sales –July 26-28 (DKI)
• Mixer on the Mall –TBA on Wednesdays in August (DKAC)
• Classic Car Show TBA - but looking at August 18 (DKI)
• Click Downtown – TBA (DKI)

Fourth Quarter Events:

• Art Hop - October 5 (DKI)
• Safe Halloween – October 27 (DKAC)
• Kalamazoo Holiday Parade – November 10  (DKAC)
• Holiday Promotions –December 1 through December 24 (DKI)
