Volunteer OpportunitiesNothing to do? Want to make new friends, lasting memories, and give back to the community? You have found the right place! Kalamazoo Holiday Parade - November 12. Love a parade? We are looking for people who want to run a parade. This means line up parade units, marching bands, floats, big trucks, and little kids. The shifts are from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lots of fun and we guarentee that you will run into someone you know. New Year's Fest - December 31. This performing arts festival in downtown Kalamazoo provides the opportunity to volunteer as a button checker, an information booth greeter, or a children's activity coordinator. If you want something with a little more responsibility, there are site coordinator positions. Either way, we have something fun for you to do on New Year's Eve. It's a great way to give back, volunteer with a group, and see the shows for free. The Event Company, as an event management company that provides college students with experiential learning, volunteering is a great way to learn the challenges and excitement of event management. We’d love your help and with on-site support, we will put you in charge.
